Is there a recommended way of tracking user visits via the API? There is a way to retrieve all users, products, and orders using Customer, Product, and Order resources. However, there does not seem to be a simple way to follow users as they navigate the store. In a way, I am trying to recreate something like Google Analytics, but combing that with the customer and order data that is already easily available.
One alternative I can think of is to use the ScriptTag resource and just load my own JavaScript. That seems rather crude. Shopify must already be tracking visits on the backend. Is that information just not available via the API? Are there other options that don't involve reinventing the wheel?
