Hello Forum,
A marketing consultant we are working with has asked that we pass specific information dynamically into their javascript tracking tag, which is located on our Thank You page. However, I'm not sure how we would do this. Here's what they are specifically requesting:
"The following information needs to be passed dynamically based on each order:
Where qty=1 in the code, replace the 1 with the actual quantity of items in each order
Where cost=[revenue] in the code, replace [revenue] with the total cost of that order
Where ord=[order id] in the code, replace [order id] with the order ID from that purchase."
How would we pull this information from the API, and where might we place this? I did reach out to Shopify support directly, who suggested that I post this question here.
