Ah...a light bulb just went off...making sense. It seems then that Shopify, in their genius, makes it crazy simple to get to the stores data.
Is it really that simple? @collection = ShopifyAPI::API.find (?) ...or some variant of the find.
I'm assuming putting data to a Shopify store is equally as simple.

PS. One last question. If you were to point someone to the best place to learn Ruby on Rails, where/what would you recommend? I do have the sample Shopify app running on a store and it worked right out of the box (Github) so I've been simply playing with different scenarios to begin to see how things operate. My next quest is putting (using JSON) data to a store. Starting with something simple like updating Product Quantity.
