I have indeed checked my access rights. I added write_theme to the oauth scope during app install. Is that what you meant or is there anything else I could do to check my access rights?

I'm suspecting that the error comes from the fact that the API does not allow modification of the theme.liquid file since it's the main theme file...

What do you think?
